Steve Trussel began indexing all the tunes in his numerous 5-string banjo tab books 10 years ago, and he published that list as the "Banjo Tune Catalog". Now he has the on-line Banjo Tune Index (BTI), with almost 3,000 tabs listed. The songbook list shows the 65 tablature books the tunes, with publication data, and alphabetical Tables of Contents for each.

5 String Quarterly is a new magazine focusing on 3 finger picking. Edited by Eddie Collins, their first issue was published in the spring of 1995.
